President of Albania to pay official visit to Chisinau early next week

President of Albania Bajram Begaj will pay an official visit to Moldova on January 18–20, at an invitation by the head of state, Maia Sandu.

According to the Presidency, the two heads of state will discuss the deepening of the bilateral cooperation, the strengthening of economic ties and mutual support in the process of accession to the European Union.

According to the same source, the visit has a special significance, given that both Albania and Moldova are candidate countries for European integration, thus providing an opportunity for the exchange of experience between the two states.

At the end of the meeting, Maia Sandu and Bajram Begaj will make press statements.
