Moldovan Speaker to visit Washington

Speaker Igor Grosu will pay a working visit to the United States of America on December 2-10. The official delegation also includes Deputy Ion Groza and Deputy Prime Minister Mihail Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, Grosu is scheduled to meet with members of the US Senate and House of Representatives, as well as representatives of the Department of State and the White House, including Andy Baker, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Charles McLaughlin, Senior Director for Europe and Russia.

The discussions will focus on strengthening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the United States, deepening the political dialogue, and expanding cooperation in the fields of security, economy, and democracy.

Grosu will meet with Moldovan communities in Washington, Chicago, and the state of North Carolina to discuss the current situation in the country and the Parliament's priorities on the agenda of the 12th legislature.
