Voting process started at several polling stations abroad
The voting process for the parliamentary elections is underway at polling stations open in Japan, China, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Israel, the Russian Federation, Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, citizens will be informed throughout the day, through official platforms, about voter turnout and the conditions under which the elections are held in the 301 polling stations opened abroad. Four of them are intended for postal voting.
Diaspora citizens can vote at any station, regardless of their status in the host country, by presenting one of the following documents: the passport of Moldova citizen (including expired), a valid identity card, or a provisional identity card.
Polling stations abroad are open between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time.
