President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen sent a congratulatory message to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the results of Sunday's parliamentary elections, emphasizing that the country has reaffirmed its commitment to European values.
“Moldova, you’ve done it again. No attempt to sow fear or division could break your resolve. You made your choice clear: Europe. Democracy. Freedom,” von der Leyen wrote on platform X.
The European official stated that the European Union remains open to the Republic of Moldova and will support the country's European path: “Our door is open. We will stand with you every step of the way. The future is yours.”

The future is yours.On Sunday, September 28, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova elected deputies for the future Parliament. According to CEC data, 1,596,530 voters turned out, representing approximately 52% of the total citizens registered on the electoral lists.
The preliminary results of the parliamentary elections, after processing 99.91% of the reports, reveal that PAS obtained 50.16% of the votes, the Patriotic Bloc – 24.19%, Alternative Bloc – 7.97%, Our Party – 6.20%, PPDA – 5.62%.
