
About 4,000 places in first grade still available in schools in Chisinau
Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/- Second stage of enrolling children in the first grade will soon begin in Chisinau.
According to the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports, the registration will take place on 14 July -30 August through the online platform escoala.chisinau.md. After the first stage of enrolling children in school, 3,868 places remained vacant.
Stage II is valid for: children to be enrolled in the first grade with profile, in other school districts on the vacancies; children from the appropriate school district, who will reach the age of 7 by the beginning of the school year and have failed to enroll; children to be enrolled in institutions in other school districts, depending on the remaining places available.
The final list of children admitted to the first grade will be displayed on the website of each educational institution until 30 August.
So far, according to information provided by the municipality of Chisinau, a number of 5,420 children have been enrolled in the first grade in 141 public and private educational institutions.
