
Amendments to regulation on payment of scholarships to performance sportspeople to be published in Moldova's Official Journal
Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) from 29 January will publish the amendments made by the government to the regulation on the way the monthly scholarships for performance sportspeople are established and paid.
Under the cabinet decision, the performance sportspeople who did not participate in international competitions can benefit from monthly scholarship in continuation on a one-year period, according to the quantum established depending on the result achieved at the last sports competition, for which he/she got right to scholarship: cancellation/postponing of sports competitions because of the fortuitous combination of circumstances; disease/injury got while participating in trainings, training camps and sports competitions, with the presentation of confirmatory acts.
The present decision enters into force on the date of publication in Moldova’s Official Journal, with the enforcement of the payment of monthly scholarships to performance sportspeople as of 1 January 2021.
