Bomb threat alert at Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau: passengers, staff evacuated
The Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau today was evacuated, after a bomb threat had been reported. The information was communicated by the Airport’s administration.
Airport services, together with border police officers, intervened to evacuate passengers and airport staff. Specialized units of the Interior Ministry are on their way to the scene.
Following the alert, the passenger check-in procedure was suspended and the airport administration warned that scheduled flights may be subject to changes.
Passengers with flights scheduled for today are advised to check their status on the airport’s online information board.
The administration of Eugen Doga Airport recommends that passengers stay calm and follow the instructions of airport staff and the authorities.
