Children summer rest to be organized according to new concept in Chisinau
Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- In summer 2021, the rest of the children in the capital will be organized only on the basis of day camps and at a capacity of 50 percent, given the pandemic.
Chisinau city hall woked out a Concept on children's rest in summer. The document is due to be approved this week.
According to Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici, the day stay camps will be organized in 12 primary and secondary schools, in which 940 children will be involved. At the same time, the municipal authorities will take the necessary steps to organize the students' rest in a constant camp, for 118 children left without parental care, from the residential institgutions subordinated to the Chisinau city hall.
Also, within eight schools with a sports profile, it is planned to organize camps for students from these institutions, and vocational camps will be opened within the creative centers (extracurricular institutions). At the same time, based on the art schools subordinated to the Culture Department, three camps with the respective profile will be set up.
Regarding the activity of the Municipal Youth Center, here is provided the organization of summer camps for students of the municipal council of students, as well as for volunteers of the municipal center.
