DOC // Published in Official Journal: Moldova joins UK-imposed restrictive measures on Russian cybercrime infrastructure
The Republic of Moldova aligns with certain international restrictive measures imposed by the United Kingdom on Russian cybercrime infrastructure. A decision to this effect, approved by the inter-institutional supervisory council, was published today in the Official Journal.
According to the document, the decision was made "to prevent and counteract risks to cybersecurity and the functioning of critical information infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova".
Also today, the Official Journal published the decision on the implementation of the international restrictive measures of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland established against Russian cybercrime infrastructure.
This led to the blocking of funds and economic resources owned, controlled, or held by several individuals and entities targeted by the sanctions.
