Corner of China in heart of capital: Spring Festival brings Chinese traditions closer
The residents of the capital are invited to discover the charm and diversity of Chinese culture at the Chinese traditional festival - Spring Festival, organized by Confucius Institute at ULIM. The event promises an authentic journey into the world of Asian traditions, bringing the spirit and colors of China closer to the public.
The festival will transform the university space into a true corner of Oriental culture, where visitors will be able to explore customs, flavors and artistic expressions specific to China, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The program includes a concert by the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, who will present artistic moments inspired by Chinese cultural heritage – music, dance and demonstrations that reflect the refinement of millennia-old traditions.
Participants will have the opportunity to taste Chinese dishes and take part in traditional games, thus discovering, through direct experience, defining elements of Chinese culture.
The event will take place on 28 February, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Palace of the Republic.
Through this event, Chișinău becomes, for one day, a space of intercultural dialogue, where China’s traditions are brought closer to the local community.
