Five medical institutions of Moldova to be endowed with modern devices with Japan's support
Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide the Health Ministry (MS) with a grant worth one billion yen (about 7 million euros), in order to endow five hospitals from Moldova with medical devices.
According to MS, an agreement on grant for the implementation of the programme on consolidation of the national medical system was signed today.
Thus, with the non-refundable financial support provided by the government of Japan, five public medical and sanitary institutions of Moldova will be endowed with last generation medical devices. It is about the Emergency Medicine Institute, Timofei Mosneaga Republican Clinical Hospital, Mother and Child Institute, Oncological Institute and the Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital.
The financial assistance is provided, in order to improve the capacities of diagnosing and treatment of residents.
