Increased passenger traffic at Chisinau Airport during Easter holidays
During Easter holidays, authorities anticipate that traffic at Chisinau International Airport will be intense due to the increased flow of passengers choosing to come to the country or who want to spend the Easter mini-vacation abroad.
In this situation, travelers are urged to ensure they arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure time to have enough time to go through all the necessary formalities.
Furthermore, to facilitate quicker passage through security checks, authorities recommend passengers follow several rules. Liquids and cosmetics must be stored in containers of no more than 100 ml and placed in a transparent, resealable bag. Large electronic devices, such as laptops or tablets, should be removed from carry-on luggage before inspection. Items such as knives, scissors, and lighters are prohibited. Travelers should wear comfortable shoes and clothing to pass more easily through security filters.
“We encourage everyone to show mutual respect and patience towards other passengers, border police, and airport staff, thus contributing to a smoother process and a more pleasant atmosphere for all,” emphasized the Border Police.
