Drone fragments discovered in Văleni
Multiple fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle were found in the outskirts of Văleni village, Cahul district, and preliminary examinations carried out by specialists indicate that they come from a "Gheran-2" type drone.
According to the Police, following the preliminary examination of the recovered fragments, of their structural characteristics, the materials used in their manufacture, and the markings identified, specialists determined that it is a "Gheran-2" type drone.
All relevant fragments and objects were documented and seized for the necessary expert examinations. Currently, specialists from the Police’s Technical-Explosive Division are continuing investigations in order to establish all the circumstances of the case.
