Ministry of Justice requested court to limit activities of Republican Party Heart of Moldova, led by Irina Vlah
The Ministry of Justice has asked the Court of Appeal to limit the activities of the Republican Party Heart of Moldova, led by former governor Irina Vlah. The action follows a notification received from the Central Electoral Commission.
'The Ministry of Justice has requested the court to admit the lawsuit, to limit the party's activities for a period of 12 months, and to apply precautionary measures in the form of limiting the party's activities during the case examination, until the final decision is made,' the ministry stated.
On September 18, the Central Electoral Commission notified the Ministry of Justice about elements that raise reasonable suspicions regarding the correctness of the funding of the Republican Political Party Heart of Moldova.
