Moldova's Diaspora Relations Bureau announces winners of support program for cultural and educational activities in Diaspora
The Diaspora Relations Bureau (BRD) has announced 16 winning projects of the Support Program for Cultural and Educational Activities in the Diaspora within the Diaspora Engagement Hub (DEH), 2025 edition.
During January 17-February 18, this year, BRD received 45 applications from Diaspora associations and educational centers for studying the Romanian language abroad. Following the selection and evaluation process, 16 projects were declared winners:

2. Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova in Portugal, Association Diaspora Community.
3. Eastern Echoes -2025, Association Community Events Consensus.
4. Sewn History – Cultural Connections in the Diaspora, Association MoldAid.
5. Diaspora Fest: Sports and Traditions, AMIC FEST CIC Moldovans with Community Impact Association.
6. Hora of the Longing – Wear the Traditional Blouse with Pride, Association Plai Moldawische Verein e.V.
7. Moldovan Roots in Toronto, Moldova Canada Link Association.
8. Echo of Moldovan Traditions, Moldovan-Belgian Association Noroc.
9. Ia-LIGURIA Romanian Traditional Shirt Cultural Festival, Sunflower Cultural Association.
10. On the Wings of Folklore, Creative Art Organization.
11. Moldovan-German Convention, Moldovan-German Association Deutsch-Moldauischer Verein e.v.
12. Roots and Language: Promoting Moldovan Culture in Denmark, Moldovan Association in Denmark “Radacini-Rødder”.

The total grant amount for projects submitted by a single association or educational center will be up to 100,000 lei. For projects submitted in partnership, the total amount of grants will be up to 150,000 lei.
The grants are meant for Diaspora associations and educational centers for studying the Romanian language abroad (officially registered in the country of residence) and are funded from the state budget. A novelty of the 2025 edition of the programme is the possibility to implement projects in partnership by at least two associations, initiative groups or educational centers.
BRD reiterates that the programme's aim is to capitalize on the potential and support the associative environment of the Diaspora and educational centers for studying the Romanian language, in order to strengthen and develop them and actively participate in promoting national identity, culture, language and traditions abroad.
