Moldovan cabinet operates more staff reshuffles

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet today appointed Anatolie Munteanu as Deputy Justice Minister. He has earlier served as an ombudsman.

The director of the National Statistics Bureau, Marin Gospodarenco, was dismissed on the basis of the application. He was accused of delaying processing and publishing data of the census carried out in May 2014.

So far, 80 million lei has been spent, but without results, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said. Moreover, the Financial Inspection descovered during a verification that the budget had been spent inefficiently, damages being recorded. At the same time, irregular auctions were organised and some economic agents were favored. Prosecutor's Office was notified on the matter in order to investigate the data at the criminal level, Filip said.

The deputy head of the State Agency, Stanislav Rusu, was appointed as director-general of the institution.
