Moldovan National Food Safety Agency discovers fore consignments of fish with parasites
Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) on 28 October informed about more non-conformities detected following laboratory investigations on fish samples.
„During controls carried out by Agency’s inspectors at closed-type public nourishment units (kindergartens, schools, placement centres), samples were taken of food products, raw material, including congealed fish, used in the organization of the nourishment process. Following laboratory investigations, ANSA employees discovered three consignments of non-conforming congealed fish, in which parasites were detected, which runs counter the normative norms,’’ ANSA said.
After getting the laboratory findings, according to the legal provisions, the non-conforming fish was withdrawn and its replacement with conforming one was recommended.
The Agency will boost controls at all closed-type public nourishment units, in order to ensure the compliance of the nourishment process.
