
Moldovan official journal roundup for 9 December
Chisinau, 9 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the Law on ratification of the 14th Amendment to the Assistance Agreement regarding the development objective between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the United States of America for sustainable economic growth anchored in European integration were published today in the Official Journal.
The document, which entered into force upon publication in the Official Journal provides that the additional funding of 19.5 million dollars will be used to strengthen the energy security of our country, reduce dependence on the Russian Federation by connecting key elements with European systems, as well as diversifying natural gas supply and increasing energy efficiency.
After granting the additional financing, the Republic of Moldova will benefit, in total, from non-reimbursable assistance in the amount of 172,728,297 dollars.
