VIDEO // Chisinau to host three international rugby matches
Chisinau will host three international rugby matches between April 4 and 18, with the national team of Moldova playing in only two of them. All games will take place at the Dinamo Stadium, and spectators’ entry will be free.
The series starts on April 4, when Moldova’s national team will face Turkey. On April 11, the match Ukraine – Moldova is scheduled, and on April 18 the game Ukraine – Bulgaria will take place.
President of the Rugby Federation of Moldova Anatol Curechi said that these matches marked the return of rugby to the attention of the Moldovan public.
“Rugby is making a strong comeback in Moldova and we are kicking off with the Moldova – Turkey match on April 4, at 14:00. We are waiting for you at Dinamo Stadium to support the national team! Admission is free,” the official said.
The matches in which the national team is to play will be broadcast live on Moldova 1.
