Over 3,000 tons of petrol, diesel imported into Moldova on April 1
Over 2,417 tons of diesel and 628 tons of petrol were imported into Moldova on April 1.
According to data by the Energy Ministry, as of April 1, fuel stocks covered 14 days of petrol consumption, 16 days of liquefied petroleum gas consumption, and 6 days of diesel consumption.
The authorities on April 1 said that, on the coming period, fuel stocks were expected to increase, after a slight decrease caused by fluctuations in import flows.
Car owners are encouraged by the authorities to use oil products rationally and to avoid purchases that are not strictly necessary.
The government declared an alert state in the energy sector on March 4 for a period of 60 days, in connection with the external situation. According to the authorities, the measure is preventive in nature and aims to protect domestic consumption and maintain the stability of the energy system.
