
More events dedicated to International Children's Day take place in Moldovan capital
Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - More cultural actions today will take place in the Moldovan capital on the occasion of the International Children’s Day. The events started in the Stefan cel Mare public garden at 10:00 with the World of Tales – an artistic programme including contests, work in zones, handicraft master-classes, technical creation, floristic, ecology, sport, tourism and pavement painting.
During the day, interactive and entertainment programmes will be held on stages from Chisinau districts. A brass band recital took place on the square of the Maria Biesu National Theatre of Opera and Ballet between 10:30 and 11:30. At 11:30-14:30, children are expected with an entertainment programme on the same place.
At the same time, children will be able to take part in contests, chess, draughts and darts competitions on the square of the Birth of God Cathedral.
Events meant to entertain children will be held also on the Eugen Doga Pedestrian Street. In the Dendrariu park, children will enjoy entertainment games, relay races, contests.
Cultural and artistic actions with the participation of artistic bands of pre-university education institutions from the Buiucani district of Chisinau and more light music singers will be organized at the Moldexpo exhibition centre.
In the evening, children and teenagers are expected at the Green Theatre to watch a music show, Cartoons Music, synchronized with pictures of the concerned cartoons.
