
Parents can submit acts for children's registration in first form in Moldova as of 1 April 2021
Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) has approved the order, On the registration of children in the first form in the 2021-2022 school year. Under the order, as of 1 April, parents can submit the acts for children’s registration in the first form; this process will take places in two stages.
The first stage will take place on the period 1 April – 11 June, when the submission, completion and validation of the applications on the registration of children in the first form will take place; these children will turn 7 till the beginning of the school year in the education institution of the school district. ‘’The documents (application on child’s registration, according to the model from the Annex 2 of the order; identify card of the parent/legal representative; certificate of birth of the child) can be sent in electronic format to the education institution’s email address or presented on paper,’’ MECC said.
The results of children’s registration in the first form in the first stage will be posted on 11 June. Also, the number of free places after the acts’ submission in the first stage will be presented on the website of the education institutions and of the local specialty body in the education sector.
The second stage will be organized on the period 14 June – 30 August. During this phase, the submission, completion and validation of the acts on children’s registration in the school district will take place; the concerned children did not manage to be registered in the first stage; also, children from other school districts will be registered on the free places.
In the context of the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Moldova, the medical card, the report on the physical, social and emotional development, of the language and communication, as well as of the development of the capacities and aptitudes of learning at the end of the preparatory group (for children who attended kindergartens) or the positive decision of the district/municipal commission on schooling concerning the school maturity and the two photos of the copies can be presented till the beginning of the school year,’’ MECC also said.
