
Selection for programme on professional probation in USA announced in Moldova
Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ - The American Councils for International Education for Moldova have informed about a new round of selection for the programme on professional probation in the USA. The deadline for submitting application is 31 January 2023.
The Professional Fellows programme selects professionals from Moldova, who work in such sectors as governance and society, giving them possibility to acquire professional abilities and experience through a scholarship in the United States in autumn 2023 or spring 2024.
The programme’s target group are employees of the public service (public and governmental institutions), actively involved in political and social reforms, implementation and promotion of civic initiatives, public administration and local governance, both nationally and internationally, employees of NGOs, including those working for the promotion of the civic commitment and legal access for marginalized communities in the effort to give quality access to legal services, within the age limit between 25 and 35 years, who speak English at the intermediate level, according to a press release of the project.
The programme provides a professional probation of 5-6 weeks at a public institution or NGO from the United States for a personalized experience of professional development and covers all expenses related to the international travel J1 Visa, health insurance, basic costs for living in the USA.
