Severe weather warning in Spain; Embassy of Moldova issues recommendations for citizens
The Embassy of Moldova in the Kingdom of Spain has issued a travel alert for Moldovan citizens, amid a red alert for heavy rainfall and severe storms along Spain’s Mediterranean coast.
The warning was issued by Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
The Embassy recommends that citizens of Moldova who are in, transiting through, or planning to travel to Spain avoid areas affected by flooding and comply with restrictions imposed by local authorities.
Citizens are also urged to continuously monitor official local alerts and information and follow the instructions of emergency services.
The Embassy specifies that the recommendations are addressed particularly to people in areas along the Mediterranean coast, affected by severe weather conditions.
