Speaker urged Moldovans to support Satoshi in Eurovision final

Speaker Igor Grosu urged the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and the diaspora to support the country’s representative at Eurovision, artist Satoshi, in the final of the music competition that will take place this weekend.

The official called for mobilization around the song “Viva Moldova”, emphasizing the importance of supporting the Moldovan candidate in the contest.

“On May 16, Saturday, we call on Moldovans everywhere to once again join our efforts and vote for Satoshi in the Eurovision contest. We all watched the first semifinal in recent days and we were certainly proud that Moldova resounded in every corner of the world. Good luck!”, said Igor Grosu.

The Republic of Moldova has qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Satoshi, with the song “Viva, Moldova!”, will perform in the grand final on May 16. The first semifinal took place on May 12 in the capital of Austria. The representative of the Republic of Moldova opened the show in Vienna.
