USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu” becomes member of International Association for Health Professions Education

Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) has become a member of the International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE). By obtaining this status, the university community will benefit from expanded opportunities for professional and academic development.

According to the university, its representatives will have access to a global network of experts and institutions in medical education, participation in international communities of practice and experience exchange, access to educational resources, webinars and training programs, opportunities for collaboration in research and innovation in education for the health professions, as well as facilities and discounts for participating in conferences and events organized by AMEE.

AMEE’s activity is based on three essential principles: connection – developing a global community built on collaboration and the exchange of good practices; development – supporting the development of learning, teaching, research and leadership competencies; inspiration – promoting innovation and modern approaches in health professions education.

In this context, teaching staff, researchers, students and doctoral candidates will benefit from the opportunities offered by this affiliation and will be able to actively engage in AMEE initiatives and activities, thus contributing to strengthening the university’s international prestige and to the continuous development of medical education.

AMEE brings together professionals, educators, students and institutions from more than 90 countries, including medical universities and medical associations from Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
