About 90 bachelor’s graduates of Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) were assigned today to the labor market. The young specialists will work in the following fields: general nursing, optometry and physical therapy, radiologic technology, public health and rehabilitation.

This year, 88 graduates were placed, of whom 29 studied with government funding and 59 on a tuition-based contract.

“Strengthening human resources is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Health. We want young specialists to begin their professional journey in medical institutions in the Republic of Moldova and, through their knowledge and dedication, to contribute to the development of a modern healthcare system. The Ministry will continue to create conditions for their integration and retention in the public healthcare system,” noted Minister of Health Emil Ceban.

The placement of graduates helps cover the demand for specialists in public medical and sanitary institutions and strengthens medical services, especially in the country’s districts, where the need for medical staff remains high.
