VIDEO // Moldova requests disbursement of 191.5 million euros from EU Reform and Growth Facility
The Republic of Moldova has requested the disbursement of the third instalment under the European Union’s Reform and Growth Facility, amounting to 191.5 million euros, after implementing 18 reform measures. The request was signed by Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu.
According to the official, if the European Commission gives a positive assessment, our country is to receive approximately 157 million euros, since part of the amount for this tranche was already granted as pre-financing in 2025.
Alexei Buzu noted that the Republic of Moldova has implemented over 90% of the reforms planned for the first half of the year, and in 2025 the implementation rate of the planned measures was 93%.
“Behind this result are months of work, coordination and a great deal of responsibility. I thank the colleagues from the institutions involved, who contributed to this important step,” he said.
According to Alexei Buzu, the funds from the Reform and Growth Facility are intended to support reforms and investments that contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova and to its alignment with European Union standards.
