PHOTO // General Inspectorate of Carabineers receives 14 service vehicles with support from EU and Italy
The General Inspectorate of Carabineers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has received 14 service vehicles. The transport means have been distributed to territorial subdivisions and will help increase the mobility of personnel.
The new special vehicles will supplement the vehicle fleet of the Regional Directorate “North”, the Regional Directorate “South”, the Special Purpose Battalion “Scorpion”, and the Carabineer Training and Professional Development Center.
The vehicles will contribute to enhancing personnel mobility, improving the efficiency of missions for maintaining and restoring public order, and strengthening intervention capacity in support of citizens. At the same time, they will provide better conditions for carrying out specific missions, in line with the requirements of a modern public order service.
The 14 vehicles were provided with the support of the European Union and Italy’s Arma dei Carabinieri, key partners in strengthening operational capacities and developing a modern public order and security service.
