VIDEO // PM says Moldovans to have heating, government not to allow manipulations over people's needs

Moldova is prepared for the cold season and has ensured a natural gas reserve in excess of 91 per cent, Prime Minister Dorin Recean has said. The official assured that the population would benefit from heat and criticized attempts by some electoral contenders to exploit this subject in the campaign.

‘’I call on all electoral competitors: stop spreading lies and fears. Moldovans will have heat and we will not allow anyone to use people's needs for false manipulations. It is irresponsible and dangerous to sow panic and fear,’’ Recean said.

The PM emphasized that the government was fulfilling its commitments and would continue to ensure the country's energy security:

‘’The government is doing its job and will continue to guarantee citizens’ stability and energy security.’’
