Warning issued for Moldovans living in the UK

Moldovan citizens who are currently in the United Kingdom are urged to exercise caution in the context of Storm “Goretti”, which is expected to affect more regions of the country. Moldova’s Foreign Affairs Ministry has made statements to this effect, based on information provided by the Moldovan Embassy in London.

According to British meteorological authorities, strong wind gusts, snowfall, heavy rainfall, high coastal waves and severe travel conditions are forecast, with possible disruptions to transport and electricity supply.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Moldovans in the United Kingdom follow official warnings, avoid non-essential travel, plan their journeys with caution and comply with the instructions of local authorities and emergency services.
