Another medal for Moldova at Olympic Games in Paris
Chisinau, Aug 9 /MOLDPRES/- Canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi won the bronze medal today at the Olympic Games in Paris. This is the third bronze medal won by our country at the summer Olympics.
The athlete recorded a result of 3:44.68 in the 1000-meter event.
In the qualifications, he recorded a result of 3:49.27, and in the second semi-final of the canoe sprint, he achieved a result of 3:45.33.
This is the third bronze medal won by our country's athletes at the Olympic Games in Paris. The Republic of Moldova has so far won two bronze medals through judoka Denis Vieru and Adil Osmanov.
Moldova is represented by 26 athletes in ten events at the Summer Olympics.
