FC “Levski-Trakia” footballers return from training camp in Bulgaria, organized with ARBOM's support

The young players of FC “Levski-Trakia” from Taraclia have returned home after a week-long training camp held at Bulgaria’s National Football Base. Intensive training sessions, two friendly matches, memorable meetings and a behind-the-scenes look at professional football were all part of a project carried out with the support of the Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community in Moldova (ARBOM).

For the young footballers, the trip meant more than just a period of preparation. They had the opportunity to discover the demands of professional sport, learn from Bulgarian specialists and experience an environment where excellence is built every day.

“It was a very successful training camp. We had the opportunity to watch and learn from professional training sessions and played two friendly matches. We will do everything possible to make you proud through our performances!” said the team’s head coach, Dmitri Todorov.

The team captain is convinced that the experience gained in Bulgaria would enhance FC “Levski-Trakia’s” effectiveness at the upcoming championships.

“At last, we felt like professionals too! We enjoyed absolutely everything, from the training sessions to the athletes’ specially adapted nutrition. We are glad that our team is being talked about more and more and we hope to continue our run of strong performances. It was an extremely useful experience. Thank you for your support and trust!” said Martin Lukianov, captain of “Levski-Trakia”.

The training camp also provided special moments off the pitch. Beyond the memorable experiences, this could become the beginning of a long-term collaboration.

“ARBOM is doing everything possible to make Taraclia known internationally, especially in Bulgaria. Football is an important tool through which a person, a team or even a city can become famous. I know that you met Valeri Bojinov and received original jerseys from Levski Sofia. We will try to turn these training camps into a tradition, including for younger age groups,” promised Plamen Milanov, president of ARBOM.

ARBOM’s leadership also expresses its gratitude to Bulgarian partners Dimitar Ganev and Milen Ganev for their involvement and support.

FC Levski-Trakia from Taraclia became the 2026 U-19 Youth League champions.
