Moldovan wrestler won silver medal at U-23 World Wrestling Championships
Chisinau, Oct. 26 /MOLDPRES/- Freestyle wrestler Radu Lefter won the silver medal at the U-23 World Wrestling Championships, which is being held these days in the city of Tirana, Albania.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), our athlete lost to the American Isaac Trumble.
After the current victory, Radu Lefter recorded his second world vice-champion title in this age category, after the one won in 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia.
This is the second silver medal for our country at the U-23 World Wrestling Championships. The first medal was won by Ion Demian, in freestyle wrestling, in the 92kg weight category.
