Nicolae Juravschi re-elected head of Moldova's National Olympic and Sports Committee for new mandate
Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - The General Assembly of the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) today re-elected Nicolae Juravschi as head of the national Olympic organization.
Two persons ran for the position of CNOS head: Nicolae Juravschi and Ion Gheorghiu, former state secretary. Juravschi got 118 votes and Ion Gheorghiu – 32 votes.
Nicolae Juravschi has been leading Moldova’s National Olympic and Sports Committee for 20 years.
