PHOTO GALLERY // Final rehearsal on Great National Assembly Square for Military Parade: over 2,000 service members march in center of Chisinau

The Great National Assembly Square hosted the final rehearsal for the Military Parade dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova on August 21, between 22:00 and 24:00. More than 2,000 employees of the security and defense institutions, 150 veterans of the war for the country’s integrity, as well as color guard groups from eight partner countries took part in the march. In addition to the personnel, over 100 units of military and special equipment were presented, acquired from the national defense budget and through assistance programmes provided by external partners.
