Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan settlements which are in quarantine regime will be strictly monitored on the Easter Holidays. People are asked to observe the authorities’ recommendations as to the prevention and combating of the COVID-19 virus, in order not to burden even more the state’s services, overbusy because of the pandemic.

„No person from outside will be allowed to enter the settlements Carahasani and Talmaza , Stefan Voda district, Soroca city, Glodeni and Stefan Voda towns, in order to avoid contamination with COVID-19,’’ the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) has said.

IGSU’s urge is that the people from outside the settlements with quarantine regime do not go to visit their relatives from the aforementioned villages and cities. Rescuers’ demands are made, in order to avoid the blocking of vehicles and people at fixed posts set by the authorities at the entrances into the settlements with special regime. Exception represents only the emergency services, as well as the ones which maintain the settlements’ infrastructure.

According to IGSU, 34 rescuers and 14 technology units work in the administrative and territorial units where quarantine regime is established. The employees of the Inspectorate maintain the citizens’ security and provide needed support to the local authorities on the spot.

"To have a happy Easter, we ask people to remain at home, keep the social distance and inform the authorities in case of suspicions of infection with the new virus. In risk situations, people can call the 112 Service,’’ IGSU sources added.
