About 3,200 families benefited from Appliance Voucher Program in fourth session this year
About 3,200 families from the Republic of Moldova have replaced their old appliances with new, high-performance and energy-efficient ones under the Appliance Voucher Program (EcoVoucher), which is in its fourth implementation session this year.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the program requires the submission of used equipment for recycling, thereby contributing to the reuse of recoverable materials and the proper management of electronic waste.
Beneficiaries can check the availability of vouchers by accessing the platforms verificarevoucher.cned.gov.md or compensatii.gov.md, and additional information is provided on cned.gov.md or by calling CNED Green Line: 0 8005 5005.
The Appliance Voucher Program is developed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova with financial support from the European Union and implemented by the National Center for Sustainable Energy. The current edition is held under the project Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies for Moldova (E4M), carried out by GIZ together with the Government of the Republic of Moldova and funded by the German Government, with co-financing from the European Union, Norway, and Denmark. Funding for the current edition is provided by Norway.
