Benelux delegation to visit Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and ForeignTrade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium Maxime Prévot will pay an official visit to the Republic of Moldova on 25 August.

The delegation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will be led by Director-General for European Cooperation Heleen Bakker.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chișinău, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Benelux countries, with a focus on European diplomacy, energy security, support for European integration, and partnerships in the development sector.

The visit's agenda includes meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi, President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu and Speaker Igor Grosu. In addition, the foreign officials will visit the Solar Park in Rădeni, an event that will be followed by a debate with the youth of the Republic of Moldova.
