Agricultural producers can apply for subsidies for investments in stages

Chisinau, Nov. 2 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has announced the launch of the first call for applications for subsidizing investment payments in stages. The call will be open until December 14, 2023.

The payment of investments in stages is a subsidy granted in stages, under an investment project or an expansion of an investment project, positively evaluated by the Agency for Intervention and Payment in Agriculture (AIPA) and authorized to pay the subsidy after the implementation of each stage based on the costs borne in full by applicant.

"The value of the subsidy granted to an applicant will not exceed 15 million lei (750 thousand euros), and for groups of agricultural producers or entrepreneurial cooperatives, it will be up to 25 million lei. The implementation of the project will be carried out within the financial means of the national fund for development of agriculture and rural environment, approved annually by the State Budget Law", MAIA said.
