Airline launches flights from Chisinau to Stuttgart, Germany

A new route will be launched from the Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau to the city of Stuttgart, Germany. It will be operated starting March 31, 2026, three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Airport’s administrator, Sergiu Spoiala, noted that Germany stayed one of the most important markets for Moldovan passengers, and adding the direct route to Stuttgart to the flight schedule comes in response to a growing demand for an important economic and cultural center of Germany.

“We reaffirm the airport’s commitment to support the development of air connections that bring people closer together, expand business opportunities and enable diverse travel experiences in an accessible and comfortable way,” noted Sergiu Spoiala. The Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau returned to state management in the spring of 2023. The authorities have earlier announced the modernization of airport’s infrastructure and the attraction of investments, in order to enhance capacity and service quality, under a state-managed, transparent regime focused on the public interest.

Presently, the airport ranks among the best-performing airports in Europe in the category of 1–10 million passengers per year. Growth is supported by the expansion of the route network and the increase in the number of airlines, which rose from 20 in 2022 to 33 in 2024.
