Cabinet decision on creation of first IT park in Moldova to be published in Official Journal
Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet decision on the creation of the park for information technology, Moldova IT park, will be published in the 29 December issue of Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
Under the document, Moldova IT park will start working on 1 January 2018 and is set up for a ten-year period. The capacity of the Park’s resident could be got by any legal entity or private person registered in Moldova as subject of the entrepreneurial activity and which carries out activities in the IT sector.
The main goal of the Park is to create an organizational platform with a string of innovative mechanisms and facilities needed to boost the growth of the information technology industry, create new jobs and attract local and foreign investments. The park is aimed at turning to good account opportunities of the IT industry’s increase through the implementation of a predictable and motivating framework of regulation by facilitating the tax system and the business administration system.
Thirty one IT companies are expected to become Park’s residents in the first year of work.
