The Republic of Moldova is becoming part of an increasingly integrated, more predictable and more attractive European economic area for investments. Speaker Igor Grosu made the statement at the General Assembly of the European Business Association in Moldova.
The official stressed that the support of European partners for the Republic of Moldova is materializing in an unprecedented investment package, which represents a strong signal of confidence in the development of the national economy.
“Last week, our European partners announced an unprecedented investment package for our country. It is a strong signal of confidence. We have the responsibility to turn this trust into concrete results: better-paid jobs, higher exports and a more competitive economy,” said Grosu.
He thanked the business community of the Republic of Moldova for their activity in the country and for their contribution to economic development.
“I would like to thank the businesspeople in our country who choose to work at home, honestly, fairly, responsibly. In the coming years, businesses in Moldova must develop at an even faster pace so that they are competitive and can compete on the European Union market,” he noted.
Igor Grosu assured that the authorities will continue to support the business environment and will intervene to solve problems before they become obstacles.
“Our commitment, as representatives of the authorities, is to stand by you, to support you and to solve problems before they become obstacles. We are moving forward,” Grosu concluded.
The European Business Association in Moldova (EBA Moldova) is an organization that brings together investing companies and representatives of the business community, operating under the auspices of the Delegation of the European Union in Chișinău.
