
Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/- The state budget law for 2020 has been rectified. 59 MPs voted to amend the budget.
For the second reading of the draft budget rectification, over 40 amendments were submitted, which have got the government approval.
Thus, the volume of the state budget for 2020 was decreased in revenues - by 649.5 million lei to 37,201.5 million lei, in expenditures - by 1,856.7 million lei to 53,200.9 million lei. The deficit decreased by 1,207.2 million lei: from 17,206.6 million lei to 15,999.4 million lei, which is 7.8% of the Gross Domestic Product.
Also, MPs voted in the second reading the law amending the Law on the state social insurance budget for 2020. Thus, both the revenues and the total expenses of BASS for 2020 were increased by 232714.0 thousand lei or from 24339399.4 thousand lei to 24572113.4 thousand lei, respectively.
The draft amendment to the Law on the state social insurance budget for 2020 will enter into force with its publication in the Official Journal.
