Traffic not to be fully ceased on Danube Bridge at crossing of Ruse-based Romanian-Bulgarian border
Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - The National Motor Transport Agency (ANTA), based on information received from Bulgaria’s competent authorities, informs the transport operators about the temporary changes and restrictions of movement on the Danube Bridge, at the crossing of the Ruse-based Romanian-Bulgarian border, following the starting of the repair works. In this respect, ANTA informs that the traffic will not be fully stopped.
According to ANTA, starting from 10 July 2024, the works have been carried out in an organized way, in order to provide passage to vehicles, at intervals, on the lane which is not under repair, in both directions. ‘’For the beginning, the repair is carried out on the lane of entrance into Bulgaria and subsequently, the lane of exit from this country in the direction of Romania will come next,’’ the quoted source noted.
