Deputy Prime Minister to visit Canada: talks on strengthening bilateral relations and developing economic partnerships
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi will pay a working visit to Canada on September 27–28.
In Toronto, he will meet with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand. The discussions will focus on the priorities of Moldovan-Canadian relations and the development of cooperation in areas of common interest, with an emphasis on economic and investment partnerships.
Popșoi will also deliver a speech at the second Ministerial Conference dedicated to the return of Ukrainian children, detained civilians, and prisoners of war, under the theme Pathways to Peace. The event is hosted by Canada and jointly organized with Ukraine and Norway.
The visit’s agenda also includes a meeting with members of the Moldovan community living in Canada.
