The Center of Excellence in Viticulture and Winemaking of the Republic of Moldova and IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences signed today a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document was signed during the visit of Speaker Igor Grosu to Austria.
The official stressed that the signing of the document represents “a concrete step to bring our professionals in the field even closer together, to learn from each other and to further carry on the wine tradition.”
“Together with the President of the National Council of Austria, Walter Rosenkranz, I spent the day in Krems an der Donau, his hometown. We visited the Agricultural Vocational School and IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, where I was glad to meet several young Moldovans who are studying here and building their future. We aim to develop this collaboration with the university in order to continue developing the skills of our young people and to prepare them as well as possible for the labor market,” noted Igor Grosu.
The official is paying an official visit to Austria on 19–21 April this year, at the invitation of his counterpart, the President of the National Council of the Republic of Austria, Walter Rosenkranz.
In Vienna, the official will hold meetings with the leadership of the Austrian Parliament – the presidents of the two chambers, Walter Rosenkranz and Markus Stotter – as well as with members of the Austria–Republic of Moldova parliamentary friendship group. The agenda of the discussions will include strengthening Moldovan–Austrian relations, deepening parliamentary dialogue and Austria’s support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
