VIDEO // Safe flights, normal traffic at Chisinau Airport: winter teams on duty

The Eugen Doga International Airport from Chisinau is operating normally and air traffic is running smoothly, despite the weather conditions specific to the cold season.

According to the institution, the airport’s infrastructure is fully operational: the runway, taxiways and aircraft parking platforms are ready for continuous operations.

Airport teams are permanently mobilized and implement specific winter procedures, which include constant monitoring of conditions, snow removal and de-icing, in order to ensure passengers’ safety and flights’ continuity.

‘’Our priority is passengers’ safety and maintaining the normal flow of air traffic. In the context of winter weather conditions, airport teams act preventively and promptly, in order to prevent any incidents,’’ airport’s representatives said.

Passengers are advised to regularly check the official channels of airlines and the airport's online board for updated information on flights and schedules: www.airport.md.

The Chisinau Airport assures that it will continue to provide safe and efficient services, even in winter conditions, maintaining high operational and safety standards for all travelers.
