Over 5,200 tons of fuel imported into Moldova in recent days

Over 4,000 tons of diesel and almost 1,200 tons of petrol were imported into Moldova during April 18-20.

According to the Energy Ministry, on April 17, fuel stocks covered 20 days of petrol consumption, 19 days of LPG and 11 days of diesel.

Car owners are encouraged by the authorities to use oil products rationally and to avoid purchases that are not strictly necessary.

The parliament of Moldova declared a state of emergency in the energy sector for a period of 60 days, starting from March 25, 2026.
