Education Code to be improved at every education level
Chisinau, May 3 /MOLDPRES/- Young specialists, employed in the educational system will benefit from facilities from the state for a period of 5 years, and not 3, as until now. Cabinet approved the amendment to the Education Code, which comes with measures to improve the educational system at all levels, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Also, new obligations were introduced for parents or other legal representatives of students, in order to counter violent and intimidating actions in educational institutions, especially those directed against teaching staff.
Thus, at the level of general education, the quality of psychopedagogical assistance services will be increased, by including them in the category of structural subdivisions of the Republican Center for Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance. Also, a fair formula for the authorization and accreditation procedures of educational institutions was established, regardless of the form of ownership.
For the higher education level, provisions will be introduced that will create premises for attracting practitioners from the fields of military, art, sports and information technologies to student classrooms. For the first time, within higher education institutions, the possibility of dual education will be introduced.
To support lifelong learning, the Government will finance adult training activities in areas of major socio-economic importance from the state budget. At the same time, the description of qualifications will be adapted to the European framework, which will facilitate the processes of internationalization of education and recognition of qualifications internationally.
